Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and old enough to enter a binding contract in your country to buy a paid plan. If you use it for an organization, you confirm you may bind that organization to these Terms.

Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Verify your email to activate your account.

The Daily Scribble rewrites text you submit to make it read more naturally, using AI models (Anthropic Claude via Amazon Bedrock). You keep all rights to the text you submit and to the rewritten output. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process your text and return a result.

• Only submit text you own or have the right to use.
• Don't submit unlawful, infringing, hateful, or abusive content, or anyone's personal data you aren't allowed to share.
• Don't use the Service to deceive, impersonate, or misrepresent authorship where doing so is prohibited (for example, breaking a school or employer's rules).
• Don't try to bypass usage limits, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service, or resell it without permission.

Rewrites are generated by AI and may contain errors or unintended changes in meaning. Review output before you rely on or publish it. The Service does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

• Paid plans (Pro and Premium) are billed through Stripe and renew automatically each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal (Account → Manage billing). Access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy. Prices may change with reasonable notice; changes apply to your next renewal.
• Free and guest usage limits are provided on a fair-use basis and may change over time.

The The Daily Scribble name, logo, site, and software are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our branding. Your text and your rewrites remain yours.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to it or others. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that output is accurate, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that it fits a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Daily Scribble will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We'll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where required, you may have rights under your local consumer laws that these Terms do not override.
